At first i assumed the worst, i have never read the books nor have i even heard of it before. the trailer did not make me want to see it as i assumed it would be a kid/teen movie but it really wasn't. it was dark, deep, sad and exciting and i am glad i was able to see it. With quality acting and incredible story this film was even greater by the fact that it was very well made and really pulled the viewer in. All in all, watch the film and you won't be sorry.

I just don't believe that all kids from district 1 are mean killing machines eager to volunteer, this is obviously only there so that we don't feel sorry if they get killed. Sorry. Bad story. Utterly unbelievable. Waste of time.
